Example of High Performing Heat Transfer Fluids (HHTFs) are the nanofluids where small size metals oxide particles are used to increase the thermal conductivity. The nanofluids contains metal oxide particles in suspension inside conventional fluids. The nanofluid developed and formulated by TCT is characterized by high heat transfer capability and it’s made basically of metal oxide of defined morphology and dimension with specific concentration related to the nanofluid formulation. The thermal conductivity and heat transfer capacity of the fluid are relevant factors in the development of high thermal efficiency system.
These additives as nanofillers lead to interesting and improving properties of the products such as acid resistance, the high thermal conductivity, and low electrical conductivity (from the electrical point of view is an insulator), and is also the catalyst for industrial interest.
